Runlockis perfect for mooring. You can create a Running loop or a Fixed loop. No need for knots that are impossible to untie.

Or you can create a Fixed lock-with quick release function, then 

all you have to do to release is to pull the release handle.

Runlock is suitable for mooring and as an anchor line for smaller boats.

A guideline is to use a rope with a strength
